XFI has an immediate opportunity for a Sales Associate at its headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. The position requires a highly self-motivated individual with tenacity and resilience, who can work both independently and as part of a team to reach aggressive sales goals. The successful candidate will have excellent people, communication, and relationship skills with an ability to articulate the vision and positioning of the Company's products to C-level executives. The position reports directly to the VP of Sales.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in generating leads and developing the company's sales pipeline via the telephone, email and the web. He/she will provide a constant flow of cultivated prospect relationships in adequate quantity, quality and revenue potential.

Responsibilities

• Research vertical markets and new target companies.
• Make contact with C-level executives likely to be interested in XFI's approach and experience and set appointments, where appropriate.
• Ask probing questions that identify key decision makers and influencers, surface business pain, and reveal existing complementary or competitive software applications.
• Support the VP of Sales in developing sales materials and tactical plans customized to targets.

Required Qualifications

• A passion for sales and an aptitude for cold-calling.
• Minimum of three to five years experience in a solution/consultative selling environment with products that change and improve existing business processes.
• Communication skills and presence that enables you to work effectively at all levels within very large and complex organizations.
• BS/BA degree in business, marketing or relevant technical field highly desirable.
• CRM and/or Sales Force Automation sales experience desirable.
