Marketing Writer

XFI has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Marketing Writer at its headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. The position requires a highly self-motivated individual who is intelligent, innovative, and loves to write.
The position (part-time or full-time) offers the candidate a chance to flex their creative muscles. A background in advertising/public relations and in software would be a plus. A can-do attitude and willingness to learn is essential. This position has growth potential for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling content for websites and for marketing collateral, such as brochures, white papers, and case studies.
- Create original world-class copy based on sound strategic rationale and an understanding of business requirements.
- Provide writing support as required for items such as customer correspondence, presentations, and proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a corporate marketing or advertising agency role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
- Software knowledge and experience marketing software is a significant advantage.
- BA degree.
