Jr. Information Architect

XFI is a rapidly expanding, next-generation enterprise software company. Our customers, Fortune 500 companies, have demonstrated that our software service improves their sales force effectiveness.

XFI has an immediate opportunity for an entry-level Jr. Information Architect at its headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. The position requires a self motivated and meticulous individual to support XFI's growing portfolio of web-based applications.

As a Jr. Information Architect, you'll work with Requirement Analysts to translate business requirements and process flows into wireframes and HTML mockups for software developers. You'll also work with the Sales Manager to mockup demo product screens and prototypes to support the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain wireframes and HTML mockups to communicate product requirements and behavior
• Work with sales to create mockups of potential products
• Maintain consistent user experience with existing products
• Create and maintain product demos and prototypes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training
• Strong visual and written communication skills
• Knowledge of web technologies and information design
• Knowledge of usability issues and best practices
• Familiarity with visual communication tools, such as Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Visio
• Ability to hand-code HTML a plus
